Walden Lake East Walden Lake East
Amenities
In Walden Lake East we have several facilities that are available to all residents who are in good standing, including tenants currently living within the community. The maintenance of these facilities is completely funded by our annual dues. The use of these funds is in accordance with the legal purpose and objectives of the Association in order to improve the quality of life for our residents and keep our neighborhoods looking their best for years to come.

We are continually working towards improving areas around the community. If you have suggestions or ideas please feel free to share them with us. You can join a discussion at a board meeting, contact us here through the website, or check the questionnaire section. Feedback from our residents gives us the best insight when making a decision. We welcome and encourage it.

Pool Passes: One pool pass will be issued to each household upon request to gain entry to the pool. The pool passes are valid until revoked and do not need to be replaced annually.  If you have lost or misplaced your pass you can request a replacement by contacting the office. The fee for replacing a pool pass is $20.

A note for Tenants/Landlords: If you rent your home, both your tenant and you will recieve an information packet which contains the deed restrictions, by-laws, and community standards. The packet also contains a Tenant Information Form which, when signed by the owner of the property, gives permission to the tenant to use the amenities.

Vandalism: In the event a resident/tenant or their guest is found abusing/vandalizing any amenity or association property, including the grounds, the homeowner (pass member holder) will be held responsible for any and all damages including attorney and court costs if found applicable.

Tennis Court:

The Tennis Court is open for practice or play from 9 Am until dusk
year round.

Playground:
Parents please accompany younger children, we want to keep your children safe. If any child under the age of twelve would like to use the playground equipment a parent must accompany them. Again this is for your children's safety. Keeping this area clean and safe for our children is a community effort. Please do your part when visiting with your children and take any trash with you when you leave.

The community recently also has a commercial grade swingset, it includes four swings, three standard seats and one toddler "bucket" seat. It is located next to the pool. The swings are meant for ages 1-12, and weight limit can be found under the swing.

We also have a "tot lot" for our younger residents aged six and younger. Recently a group of volunteers from the neighborhood fixed the liner and border.

The Board is looking into future options for the playground area, if you have suggestions please contact the board, we would love to hear any ideas residents might have.

Also be sure to check out the Questionnaire section to help the board and share your opinion.

Around our neighborhood we have several parks. The largest park being near the clubhouse, with smaller parks located within a short distance to all our residents. Bring a blanket and picnic basket, or a good book and enjoy the shade for the afternoon.

  • South Teakwood Park
  • Yoho Park

Walkways:
What might be a bit of a secret to some residents, there are several grass walkways around the community that connect common spaces, parks and other parts of our neighborhood. We are currently working on improving these areas so everyone can enjoy them.
