Deed Restrictions
Deed restrictions are the rules and regulations that govern all of our parcels of land.  Our deed restrictions were  created by the original developer to protect the planned use of our community and  your investment.  They bind all current and future owners of every home and plot in Walden Lake East. We may however choose to amend them in a manner prescribed by state law and our governing documents. 

Deed restrictions comprise a comprehensive set of regulations. They speak to prohibitions on mobile homes, junk, commercial or business activities, trailers, signs and unsightly growth.  
  
A common misconception is that if a deed restriction is not stated or referenced in the deed for the land that you purchase, even if there was an earlier deed restriction binding the land, it will no longer be applicable to you.  That is incorrect.  Once a deed restriction is properly recorded, as our ours, it remains in the "chain of title" for the property  as stipulated  until 12/31/2042.
